Laptop Stand / MOFT
MOFT's stand is built on the premise that the best stand is one you never have to remember. It is three millimetres thick and weighs about 90 grams, an origami sheet of vegan leather and fibreglass that sticks to the base of a laptop with removable adhesive and stays there, folding flat when not in use and disappearing into the bag along with the machine. Pull it open and it forms a rigid wedge in a second, raising the screen two or three inches at fifteen or twenty-five degrees, enough to unhunch a neck and let air under the chassis. Its own designers call it invisible: unseen when attached, unfelt when carried. It suits the mobile worker who wants a modest ergonomic lift they will never leave behind, and accepts modest is the ceiling.
Design intent

Trade-offs
- -The lift is only two or three inches, so it improves posture rather than fixing it: unlike a full stand it will not bring a screen to eye level, which is the deliberate price of being invisible.
- -The adhesive version commits the stand to one laptop and is not recommended for machines with underside vents or rubber feet, so the very feature that makes it always-present also limits which machines, and how many, it can serve.
