Day Sling 3 / Aer
A sling sits between a pocket and a bag, and most resolve that by being a soft pouch that sags when set down. The Day Sling 3 resolves it differently, as a small structured system. Three litres are divided into defined compartments rather than one cavity, with a concealed back pocket sized for a passport, so the bag stays organised under repeated use instead of becoming a place things disappear into. The 1680D Cordura ballistic nylon shell gives it enough body to stand upright, and the Fidlock magnetic buckle removes a step from putting it on and taking it off. The standard finish is black, with a lighter 700D Heathered Gray version and a more weatherproof X-Pac version alongside it.
Design intent
- +The main compartment opens in a horseshoe running almost the full height of the bag, so the interior is visible at a glance and packing stays repeatable.
- +Weatherproofing is concentrated where it matters: a sealed YKK AquaGuard zip on the exposed front pocket, with a lighter standard zip inside where exposure is lower.
Trade-offs

Trade-offs
- -At three litres the capacity is fixed and honest: enough for daily essentials and light travel, not for the days you need to carry more.
- -The X-Pac version's laminate face is slippery against smooth clothing, so the sling tends to slide round to the front when you lean forward.
