Trek'Air Camp Chair / Labo Mono
The Trek'Air is a folding camp chair built around a 7075 aluminium-alloy frame and a single suspended textile seat, where the fabric, more than half of it post-consumer recycled plastic, provides the tension that holds the chair in shape. The shock-corded poles self-join, so the whole thing unfolds or packs away in seconds with no bolts or tools, down to a small cylinder light enough to go in a daypack rather than a dedicated gear bag. It sits low, for a reclined, settled posture rather than a dining position, and includes a cup holder, a stash pocket and a place for the carry bag. It is aimed as much at urban parks, festivals and open-air films as at campsites: seating that travels as part of a carry load rather than being transported separately.
Design intent
- +The suspended textile spreads load across the whole seat rather than at rigid contact points, giving better comfort for the weight than foam padding at the same packed size.
- +Pack size and weight are tuned for a daypack, and the seat fabric is largely recycled, so a chair you would not normally carry becomes one you might.

Trade-offs
- -The light aluminium frame and tensioned fabric are not indestructible; the joints and the fabric's tension points are the likely places to fail under heavy repeated use.
- -It sits low, so anyone who finds floor-height seating hard to get out of, or has limited mobility, will struggle with it.
